In 1946, the debut year of both the Power Wagon and me. the minimum wage was .40/hr. Which equates to $800-1000 per year. The average salary was $1662/yr. Which equates to about .80/hr....The cost of a Power Wagon.....Not so cheap, after all.
Note: I know the PW actually bowed in 1945...’46 made a better read.
