Why not get away from the Ford pump if isgiving you problems. You can probably build a bracket or modify an after market one to hold a different pump. I ended up doing that with my Carryall with a V 8 in it. I could not use any standard bracket due to the limited space. I ended up with a very tight fit with the pulley hub but it’s worked great for 10 years with no issues.
If worse come to worse you can use his mounts and modify it to accept a different pump you can have a local shop do any welding if needed.
