Darryl, I went through the exact same process a few months back. I got my most accurate reading by lifting one wheel, counting the turns and multiplying by two. When I tried lifting both wheels, it became difficult to keep the wheels from "breaking traction" while spinning. This made it hard to measure. Clint Dixon explained that this will happen when there is uneven forces of potential friction working on the two wheels such as brake drag, tire balance, and wheel bearing wear. For a while there I was worried that I got stuck with one of those RARE underpowered pw's with 2.92 gears!!!Good Luck, Bruce
