If your truck is 6 volt pos. yoiur only choce is the Crane Cam Allison unit. Straight drop in also works on 12 v neg. Check the Tech Tips at www.p15-d24.com for details. Pertronics makes a 12 v kit, I have had one of the Allison units for over 10 years with no problems and have them in my 48 Plymouth coupe and B1 truck.
