I bought this truck in 1997 and used it as my main work truck until 2000. Since then I’ve only driven it once or twice a year for fire wooding. In 1999, I had a professionally rebuilt 318 (with a heavy-duty cam shaft) put in along with a new clutch, new brakes, and a new front drive shaft.
It has a PTO winch on the front that was rebuilt right before I bought it. It also has a Mico-lock brake that works perfectly. The body has some rough spots and I thought about restoring it but don’t really have the time or inclination. All the glass is good, seat is good, and floor is solid. This truck is in excellent shape mechanically, transmission tight, engine purrs. The passenger door does not engage, and the driver door only opens from inside. A good truck to fully restore, or just repair the door latch and you have an excellent rig for hunting, firewooding, etc.
