That was going to be my first guess, because it looks like the one in my grandpa's pickup, but I thought Tucker used strictly Mopar drive train parts. I agree the 292 is a good motor. I had a chance to buy an unopened factor crate 292 back around 1985 for $400 and I sure wish I'd done it, though of course the reason I didn't was I didn't have $400 then. The guy who was selling it had a garbage company and had bought 2 of them for spares when he bought a set of new garbage trucks that had that engine in them, but he wore out the trucks before he wore out their engines.

The slightly newer tuckers had 318s in them. I didn't notice the master cylinder. I guess that means that by 1969 they'd gotten so fancy that they actually had brakes! Neither of mine has brakes, which takes a little getting used to.
