Yes the flooding finally receded, although I dont think I had much to do with it! The day before it went down it froze about an inch thick. Then when the water went down the ice just layed down on the driveway / bridge approach. Since the approach is on a slight incline it was just about impossible to walk up it! Joan and Claire walked out the first morning and both fell a couple of times. Thats when I got the word, GET RID OF THIS ICE!!! Amazing what a bag of salt will do!
