Looking at your list reminded me of an article in one of the 4x4 mags. Gist of the article was that now that extreme offroading is popular it is possible to go drop a ton of money and have a turn key super duper wiz bang whatever. The problem is that the truck exceeds the skill of the driver. Then you have a big hazard to everyone. Your list has lots of suggestion some of which are opposites. Until you do a bunch of offroading and come up with your own style of driving you wont know what you need. The only way to do that is to start small and pick and choose as your experience grows.
