Actually we still had the '57 TWPW and he probably was driving that. I took it to Long Beach, WA one day and if you know anything about that beach it is reaaaalllly soft on the far north end. I nearly found that out the hard way but just gassed 'er hard and swung her on around and headed back south without too much trouble. Have been very careful there ever since.
And I wanted an OD/gear splitter. I looked at US Gear, Gear Vendors and Advance Adapters. The only one that would do everything that I wanted was the the AA. Bad thing is they wouldn't build it to fit a Dodge transmission. Only Ford or Chevy. That is why I ended up with a Chevy gear box. The AA OD/gear splitter works not only in that function but also as a trans adapter. I have an SM465/205 combo bolted in place behind the OD. It works pretty well and fits like a glove.
I will probaly get that done about the time Norm gets his on the road and puts together a Camp Dodge again.
