Message:   never was much of an oil splash problem, it was more of a "damn thats hot" problem. i can get mine down under 400rpm, but that cast iron still gets hot and the rocker is still bouncing up and down while im trying to wrench it and lock it back down. just a lot easier to do when things are cool and stationary.
