My recollection (it's been a few years) is that the input and output bearing retainers can be swapped, they may even be identical, and the worm can be removed from the shaft (it's keyed on) so that the wear surfaces remain the same, if you care. The brake band needs to be reversed, and the brake housing is designed to allow this. Just be sure to verify that you have the band in the correct position to hold a load with the way you load your cable on. Rob
