I have an OD/gear splitter in my W200 and I use it in 4WD. Why would that be strange???? There are times I find it very advantageous to be able to have a split between some of the gears. Kinda makes me wonder how much 4 wheeling experience you have if you have to ask that question? In case you are wondering, I have been around 4x4's since before they were even factory built (except the REAL PW's).
