There are replacement Carter carbs out there but they are expensive. You'd probably be better off getting a new Edelbrock carb from Summit or some place like that. If the Lil Red came with a 850 then replace it with an 850. I have a Holley 600 on my 71 Charger and its been a good carb but it took some extra work to get it to mount on the engine. The Ebrock will bolt right down with no troubles.
I just looked through my new Summit catalog sent to me with parts the other day.....
They have a EBrock 795cfm Chrysler Thermoquad replacement carb for 85-earlier 360,400,440 with electric choke for 499$. KInda expensive......
I dont see any of the other standard Ebrock carbs with a cfm any higher then 750 in the catalog. Those are 260$ to 275$ These all should fit on like an old Carter AFB or AVS.
