There was an article in our paper today about it and it has been on the TV.
Somehow they want to send you more money via cashiers check then the sale price however they want you to send the extra back which is where the scam comes into play because the check is bogus.
If you accept the transaction they will call you constantly to send the due money untill such time you find out from the bank the check is bad.
So "cash" the check and wait for it to clear before proceeding.
