Mark, As far as I can tell they are spot welded, the spot welds are easy to see. I've replaced sections of gutter on my WC with great sucsess. You just drill out the spot welds on the peice you're salvaging, then mig through the holes to re-attach. The joint is the hardest part making sure you don't burn it away, but it can be done . I've got to do it again because the cab I took the donor piece from for my WC-12 ended up on my C-3 so now I have to graft another piece on it to make it complete. Oh well you can't win sometimes.
