The same fellow who quoted me $45 for the glove boxes also quoted me $400-$450 for a brand new full width Gas tank for the Power Wagon. I took him a old one I have to look at so he knows exactly what I'm takling about. I thought it was a bit steep at the time, but In looking at having a old tank "renu"'d it will cost $225-$375 according to the article in hemmings.
He makes the tanks with square edges and provides square cut straps to replace the original round ones. There will be 3 baffles in the tank. He can make them out of aluminum also, but they are quite a bit more expensive. He also needs your old filler neck and sending unit/ float mechanisms.
Again, if there are enough people that want to commit to one we might be able to get the price down more. Maby like 10 or 12?
