Hi Ray -
there is a drain on the cannister, drain the fuel out, then shut it to closed position. Remove the cannister from truck using the "stationary" nut on top, remove the water sensor electricalm connection. Remove old filter. Pour fuel directly into cannister to about 1/2 full, and set new filter in to soak it up, then add more fuel until cannister/filter is near full. Replace the cannister on the truck. Start it - check for leaks.
