I found a guy I knew who also is restoreing a old truck that has a Body shop. He said he would do the painting for 150.00 if I bought the paint! He needs some help on his wireing so we traded some of the labor. He said to just clean the metal and he would take care of the rest of it. He is going to use some special primers, 2- part paint and such so it turns out nice. He want to do the prep work and told me to do nothing as far as putting something on the metal. I think I lucked out and a lot less than 2,800.00 the other guy wanted even the cheap job was 1,700.00 with no prep work by him. Mark H.
