I read your post with interest. I bought a '03 2500 last November and already have 9500 miles on it. I have never owned a diesel before, but this truck is impressive. I went for the 2500 because I wanted the 6 1/2 foot box. I settled for the 6 speed, due to the auto not being available, but am getting used to shifting, steering, and talking on the cell phone.
My only complaint still is the 17" wheels. I bought a set of 305 85 17 Maxxis Buckshots, D rated, for Idaho winters, but I want to find some highway tires in the same diameter, 33 1/2". Do any of you know of any tire companies making any larger 17" or 18" tires?
