Mac from Texas called me last night and said that he hit a bird with his Dennan overdrive equipped Power Wagon last night. This truck still has the original 230 flathead 6. That Dennan overdrive unit may be the secret weapon for defending against incoming Scuds. Since Mac already works for Uncle Sam, maybe they should send him and his Power Wagon to Iraq to demonstrate the potential of this new weapon.
The only time a bird gets close to my Power Wagon is when it's building a nest or looking for a place to make a deposit, and that's usually when I'm going down the highway at top speed.
