I've bee off shoveling snow (70+inches) for the last few days and have not been looking at the forum since last Tues. Don't see much activity from the Colorado mountain PW's like Dan and Bruce. How are you guys faring? I will try to post pix. Tues am got down mw driveway (1/3 mile) with about 24" of snow at that time but couldn't make it all the way back up. "Parked" it out of the way. With snow coming down at 2-3" and hour it is hard to keep up so just sat back and let it snow. Both neighbors got their snowplows stuck Mon night (Chevy and '85 Dodge) plus tractors with bucket loaders and Bobcats. Got the PW freed from its parking spot Sun mid-day after neighbors hired a BIG front end loader to bust them out and freed up their stuck heavy equipment. Paid $110/hr for the BIG thing and driver myself to head up my driveway. Ran out of money before he could get me totally free. So, I have about 500' of driveway to go before I can use more than my 2wd pu for a family of 4. More snow on the way today and talk of a another big one on Thurs. Anybody know where I can find one of those rotary snowblowers to run off the PTO? If you want pix e-mail me off line.
