Dave,
It actally started out as a 1100 4x4. The front springs have added leaves for about a 4" lift. I have a 1969 (square body style) 1300 crewcab 4x4 with 2wd front springs. They are longer than the 4x4 springs, I had to move the shackle mount back to the rear hole in the frame. This gave me a 2" lift. The 11.00R16s fit on my truck but I would need to trim the front edge of my fender to prevent rubbing on bumps.
Since yours is a old body style truck, I would say 4" of lift or some fender trimming will do the trick.
I will get some pictures of his truck, it has turned out pretty nice.
Dave, are you the guy in WA that I was going to get the crewcab pictures for? I will get them, I just haven't been down to my dad's place lately.
Later
Dave
