I have the early factory electronic ignition. The engine starts, idles fine but has no power almost like the choke is closed, but it is open. I took the truck to my mechanic and after rebuilding the carb, which helped, he found that I had reversed the connections, top to bottom, and the voltage was low, when he changed them all the power was back.
