Pre-1972 LA-318 2-bbl = 230 net hp, If I remember correctly.
1960-1967 poly 318 2-bbl = heap-o-torque.
I suggest a 413 or 440 for that plenty, plus some experience, if you pull loads.
Then theres the moneys no object, cummins diesel with the new NV5600 5 or 6 spd ? w/OD
dream conversion.
Personally, the 413/440 is a cheaper, load pulling swap.
