Just shows that the flag is a symbol that means different things to different people. Apparently to some of us, it means everything this country could and should be.To some of us, it means a bit less. I hope my kids have the courage to stand up for their convictions and make unpopular statements, the scariest thing that could happen in this country is to have us all chanting the same chant and marching goose step. I also hope my kids have the courage to fight for their (and other's freedom) and that includes the freedom to publicly disagree with authority.
