I saw a picture in an Overdrive Magazine (for truckers) years ago of a '47 Kenworth with a Hall-Scott engine on propane with over 1000 cubic inches developing 340 HP. I have heard of them being used in tanks, tank retrievers, or self-propelled guns; I think from the Korean War era.
