The small 1/8" allen head screw is plumbed into the high pressure oil gally. There are six of those running horizontal on that side of the block ( one for each journal ). You can tap into any of those for your OP gauge or ( bypass ) filter Supply. Your return from the filter should plumb into the pressure relief valve also located on that side of the block. Click on my album's below and go to my "M-37 Misc" photo's where you can find pic's of the Pressure relief valve and a "230 cut away",which show the oil line hookup.
