the line usually will rin up to the back of the engine most where coneccted to the manifold where they would have direst vacumn to them, the first thing i would do would be id to pull the line at the axle and see if there is vac, there while in 4hi or 4 lo if there is then sounds like you have a problemble in the discoonect, the vac swictch on the t case can go bad but nit as often, there is a good chance you pulled a line loose while plowing, the line to the motor might run thru a metal line then over to a rubber line if i can get it scanned ill dend you a diagram tomorrow.
