im replacing the intake manifold gaskets on my 360. i will be using felpro blue (non metal) gaskets. what is the proper way to install them. the previous owner either did a great job installing them using sealant - i cant see any- or installed them dry. when they heat up, do they stick to the manifold block on their own, or were they glued down. i had to scrape them off. in addition, the rebuilder did not use the cork valley gaskets, but a clear silicone type sealant. what is the best way to do the gaskets and could you provide the method that works best for you. this is my first attempt at an intake manifold on a v8. i have done many heads on a flathead using a stock gasket and aircraft (permetex) and never had any problems. any help would be great. thanks, mannyc
