Sorry to waste space on mental gymnastics, but here goes: Got a couple of mid-40s 2wds I need to do something with this year, enough good stuff for one truck. One was a graduation present but I can't get excited about doing it stock as a 2wd 1 1/2 ton. The idea of a 1-ton 4wd late(r) model dsl with '40s sheet metal has got the ol' synapses pinging away. Not too worried about fitting the body on, but I know next to nothing about the dsl Dodges. Would appreciate opinions as to the "best" years/components (considering through late '90s). Thanks!
