if he is saying its a 1.5 ton what he is giong on is the non clamture (did I spell that right) plates in the truck, sounds as if its a m880 which is the same as a W-200 except that it want have power sterring, it will be a 318 with a 727 tranna and a new process 203 full time fwd it will have a dana 60 rear and a dana 44 in the front, as i said most of these trucks were full time 4wd, the only major drawback was the front hub design as it das a double bearing that sett back to back in the hub.spindle, these went bad easily becuse most people never greased them, with the wheel off one will see an acess hole rotate it to about the 120 1oclock postion and you will find a grease fitting there, keep the bearing greased on a regular basis and they are fine, never grese them and you will be abuying a new hub/ bearings and the time it takes to install, it is a simple design and like i said most people never knew the fitting was there, so these trucks got a bad rap for the bearings going bad, ive had a few with over a hundred thousand miles on them and they wwere fine, as for the value you havent said what he wants, but these can be bought cheap at the gov sales,, i usually buy a few a year and resale to the farmes and teenagers around here. i have had some that were like new, some just junk, but if you really like dodge trucks,it just doedent matter im 36 now have had a dodge since i was 16, growing up we always had a doge and mom always had a chysler or plymount, so it gets in ya blood, now the power wagon thing gets to ya head, changes something in the brain for most:):), and yes most all the guys here on the board are great , and there always willing to help out when they can, as for the no start that could be several things ill address that in a little while as my 4 month old daughter is saying daddy get oof that there computer and feed me and change my diaper.
