Disagree. If you said "62 FF for sale", or "62 flat fender for sale", a newbie would have NO IDEA what was for sale. Having been a newbie not that long ago, I speak with authority :-)
You're right that a newbie would think it was a WM-300, which I think is appropriate.
I think "second generation Power Wagon" is a good term, though long. It is accurate. The fact that the first and second generations overlapped in years of manufacturing is the only confusing part. They redesign vehicles all the time, as in the Chevy Malibu, for example. Today's Malibu looks nothing like a '67, but there's no confusion once you state the year. That's not true of the years between the introduction of W-100's and Power Giants through 1968 when they decomissioned the WM-300.
