My two cents! As has been said, the term "Power Wagon" has been applied to any truck that looks like one and those that use the more conventional shape (non FF Power Wagon). Because of this, the initials "FF" have been applied to try and determine the type of truck someone may be asking a question of, to seek clarification and pin down what truck they are actually talking about. I don’t believe it ever was meant in a derogatory since; it merely was to try and distinguish the one-and-only-one “Power Wagon” from the other models so we could try to provide the appropriate advice for the model truck.

Because the term “Power Wagon” has been applied to many different models, I would suggest that we post pictures/name of the various “Truck Models” to include VC, WC ½ and ¾ tons, Civilian we have, M37, and others so that when someone is posting a question, and doesn’t tell us what type of truck, or they are not sure what type, we can refer them to that part of the form for their truck’s appropriate model. This will allow us to provide the best help we can, and educate those “new bees” and some of us “old Dodgers.”
