Oh my Gawd! My first post as a new Sweptline Power Wagon owner and I get slammed by none other than Gordon Maney (Sorry, despite your disclaimer, I felt a little bit of a slam here having posted just a couple of hours prior to your message). I have read and re-read your well written post, Gordon, and read all of the responses. Being a novice in this world, I thought the term (see I can't even write it anymore) was endearing and respectful of The Power Wagon. The irony of it is that in my heart I really want The Power Wagon but my head can't justify it at this time in my life. So I compromised (?) with myself and bought a working, running, driveable Sweptline Power Wagon.
I'll take my cue from MoparNorm and use the Sweptline term to identify my truck (I just updated my web page).
Just want to say also, I really enjoy your magazine, and although I don't think of myself as an old man (is 44 old? :)), John Kerr's letter this month really touched home.
