I feel the NDT was engineered for off road use, with a rim protector. I've backed up my opinion with contempoary quotes. Can Paul (or Norm, or you) show us anything from the 40's? or is his article 'one mans opinion', based on lore? His article can be harmful, If guys spend thousands of dollars for a false safety issue, sorta like deleteing files for a virus hoax on the basis of an email. All I'm saying is to discuss and verify before proclaiming something abnormally risky.
