Sorry, I meant to say should be changed. First of all, this truck is a daily driver and the heads on this engine don't have the hardened seats. The exhaust manifolds and heads are somewhat restrictive for my likeing. The water pump is the high mount. I plan to use the 906 heads, I do all my machining as well, since I am a mechanic and machinist. I plan to use a performer manifold with a Holley 600 carb. The engine will also have the "power-econimy" cam. My Question was --Has anyone else done a similar engine change?
