The Dana full time is a pile no matter what you do to try to fix it. The Milemarker hub kit is as high as a army surplus rebuild front diff. Are you sure you checked the clearance between the bearing housings according to factory specs? If they are off the bearing will run loose and ruin. The nuckle kit is $300 from dodge, the bearing housing is not sold seperately or aftermarket that i have found. If you buy one of the RETARDED Cad 44 housings you will still have problems with the block off plate being a water inlet if you do water or mud pits. Chevy nuckles can be added but the outer shaft is 1 inch longer than dodge. So you need outter shaft from dodge dana 44 locking hub axle to use chevy spindle, confused so am i! I do not know about ford nuckles, i would trash the whole thing by putting it on ebay and getting a surplus front dana 60 with drums and switch it to discs. If you shop and look around you can get away from the bearing eater dana44, i have 42 inch rubber with ctm joints and still eats up bearings axles short shafts, also have a locker in it, the dana 44 fulltime front axle is worse thing i have ever run into from dodge 4x4. I am trying to buy some mog axles and move on up to 20 inch rubber with beadlocks from Daniel Tibus killer axles, cheaper than fancy dana from some shops only $1650 for front and back!
