I have a Range Rover with a 2" lift and
GoodYear MTR tires. The ride is firm and the tires are not so quite but that's the way I like it.

I use my Rover to trailer my M38's,landscape equipment (side business) and some serious offroading, oh yea for work and as a family vehicle too.

But it will never be a real "truck" it has leather seats,cruise, power everthing, and its water tight.

I've been through a pond where the water was less than 2" below the driver and passengers windows and not a drop of muddy water came inside to soil my nice "Westminister Grey" carpet, DAMN!

When I needed to VENT or just calm down I used to climb into my M37 and just go crusin & let the soothing sounds of whinning gears, the drone of the Military tires, all the knods, smiles, thumbs up and perplexed looks, take control of my troubles.

Now I've sold all my MV's except my
New Old Stock '49 FF B-1-PW.

I just got it on the road last Wed. After
SPEEDING around town on Sat. I felt the urge to take it to work 42 miles each way.
20 miles of which is on I-95 just outside of N.Y.C., kinda busy.

Not only did I find my exploration to be FLAWLESS and SLOWER than in my M37 but more soothing and relaxing than anticipated.

I'll be taking it to buy a pack of cigarettes (I don't smoke), but its an excuse to go for a drive.

I guess what I'm trying to write is;
I can count on my winch model Flat Fendered PW to get me out of more than just the mudd.

The newer vehicles can be used for creating troubles, work etc.
and the MV's and Flat Fenders can be for reducing them.

Thanks for your time and I hope this was as fun to read as it was to write.

Thanks again
