casebro and MoparNorm are right. What you want is a rectangle. Meaning, a perfect 90 degrees in the corners. You get a "diamond" or paralelagram(SP)when something is knocked out of square. You measure it opposite corner to opposite corner to check ,as stated before, using holes or anything that is mirror image on both sides. You CAN NOT be out of square if the sides measure the same and the diagonal measurements are the same. Carpenters are supposed to do this before putting sheathing on walls to keep a sidewall square and plumb when raised. Hope this helps, Kevin
