It depends upon how low your headache tolerance is! It will mate to a Poly bell. That will mate to your LA block, HOWEVER, you may need to modify the bell slightly depening upon whether the block was previously mated to an automatic, flywheel may need to be changed to match your clutch, and the end of the crank may have to be modified if it was and automatic motor previously. Try to get a bell.flywheel/starter/clutch/ all from the same motor that was originally mated to a manual and you will have a much easier time.
Get out a tape measure, pad and pen and start looking! Good luck! Now all that being said, I'll bet someone out there has already done it and may have part numbers or casting numbers that would greatly help you out in identifying the proper parts.
