Gordon. May I humbly mention, from building experience, that those two measurements might be the same and the whole thing not be square. Think of a parallelagram. Both sides are the same length and both ends are the same length, but the angles are not square. This can happen in the axle to frame connection. "Square" implies that both sides and both ends are equal in length and all four corners are 90 degree angles. I learned this with a truck years ago. It was going down the road at a weird angle.
