1942 WC56 Dodge Command Car

This is a rare, early model WC56 Command Car that is very complete. All serial numbers (frame, engine, Budd, body, data plate and hood) indicate, based on the charts in the TM, that this vehicle is same as it was when it came off the assembly line (301st). It has spent the last 15 years stored inside, originally came from South Dakota and has been owned by two people since it left the service. It has not been cut in any way and is in excellent shape. The original markings (which are hardly faded at all) indicate that is belonged to the Texas 8th Service Command. The frame and sheet metal couldn’t be in better condition . The motor has a broken valve, but a replacement motor may be available if you don’t want to rebuild the original.

This vehicle belongs to Manny Rogers and can be seen in Billerica, MA. For anyone who is interested and is planning on attending the Military Flea Market in Lowell, MA on Sunday, March 9th, which is sponsored by the Merrimack Valley Military Vehicles Collectors, flyers with directions to Manny’s garage will be available at the show or email me for directions. His garage is about 10 minutes away from the VFW Post where the flea market is held.

There is also a complete MU2 winch setup (winch, rails, brackets bumpers and extensions, drive shaft and joints) that is available for the Command Car at an additional
cost.

1953 M37 with winch, 33,169 miles, brakes redone and in decent shape, runs nice . Former town truck that wasn’t abused.

1953 M37 with winch, 25,807, restoration almost complete. Pictures tell the story.

Also for sale and available for viewing that day is a 194? Willys MB Jeep and Datsun 5000lb. forklift.

If anyone is seriously interested in the Command Car or any of the other vehicles, please email me (click the link above) for more details and photos.
