Most chokes have a vacuum system to pull hot air from a tube through the exhaust manifold. If you don't want to hook it up, plug/cap it off. Or hook it up to a piece of brake line wrapped around your manifold , just in case the electric parts go bad. Hook other end of tubing to a port high on carb that willl bring filtered air through plumbing and into carb.
