I have all the hair line cracks sealed. Realy hated to do it but I cut the steering shaft in haft off the Command Car since the wheel was worth more then the shaft!! I was then able then to drill it out on the drill press and remove it. Been tring for more than a week to get it off and did not want to ruin the wheel. The Massey Wheel I bought will go on my Tractor to hard to rig up a horn to it. The Command Car Steering wheel was in good shape and fits the PW nice. What type of Paint should I use on it? I heard someone say epoxy paint once. I need to use a spray can can type on it also. What is the primer type also. I filled the cracks with JB Weld they were realy fine but would show up if I did not do it. I will finish sand them smooth again befor painting. I was lucky there were none on the outside of the wheel just on the back side of the center and where the three spokes met the center. Thanks, Mark H.
