As a Fellow Red Tractor freak, I thank you for mentioning that IH book...I will have to get a copy sometime soon. My First tractor was a Farmall A. If you have any questions about it, let me know, I will help if I can. I currently have a Farmall H. Does your tractor have PTO-Belt Pulley in one unit on the back? That is the type of PTO-PUlley setup I plan to adapt to my Power Wagon. You are going to LOVE that A and will not go wrong with it. Being an offset tractor does make it kinda awkward to drive..
