Gents (and ladies),
This is the link to my 1963 Avion travel trailer. In 1958 - 3 guys quit the Airstream company and formed Avion building the aircraft aluminum trailers that only rich people could afford. Later, Avion was bought by Fleetwood Intl. which is now the largest RV mfr. in the world. My wife and 3 kids were searching for an affordable camper about 4 years ago when I found this gem sitting in the tall grass on a trailer lot in West Bend, Wisconsin. I did the outside - my wife did most of the inside after I fixed the floor, plumbing,furnace,cabinets,beds, etc. - basically we gutted it. She did a great job decorating. It is now like new. Initial price $1200. Put into it - $3200. Camping memories so far - PRICELESS.
