hopefully this helps. I just recently put a 1987 two wheel drive cab on a 1984 4x4.The center transmission hump needs to be salvaged if in decent shape.(i was unable to find aftermarket and most used were no good).the 87 hump does not leave enough clearance or space for transfer case or shift lever boot.we used the wiring harness for motor of the 87.the in dash four wheel indicator light was in the two wheel harness but dash trim plate was changed .the steering shaft from column to gear box were differant and they were cut and tube was slipped over both ends and welded together.hope this helps.
