Assuming your "very wea 230" is in a ff pw the opinion of those more knowledgeable than me on this forum seems to be that the upgrade to 251 isn't worth the extra effort to squeeze it in, when you could get a rebuilt 230, or rebuild the one you have....
A 1.5 ton '52 for $250.00 sounds like an interesting project in it's own right.
