Thanks for the help. I should have stated that the truck ran perfectly at thanksgiving thats the last time it ran, until Wed.
I put on a new mechanical fuel pump, sealed the tank, did the brakes, lines, all cyls, drums hoses,yatta yatta.
Wheel bearings,seals, bushings, ign. sw to points, I welded up a battery box for the larger 6v battery (875 CCA at 0 deg.) I got my carb rebuild kit Thurs. I guess this is what I get for only doing half of the job!
