I don't know about dot 5 in my Pw because I havn't finished it yet but I've used it in my other trucks and I'm sold, no more caliper freeze-up and rusted componets. Its worth the extra $ in my opinion, I can't see how it would perform any differently than Dot 3 except Dot 5 doesn't absorb water, and thats big in my book, less maintanance in the long run.
